Parole

The release of a prison inmate – granted by the U.S. Parole Commission – after the inmate has completed part of his or her sentence in a federal prison. When the parolee is released to the community, he or she is placed under the supervision of a U.S. probation officer.

• 4. Each State Party shall ensure that its courts or other competent authorities bear in mind the grave nature of the offences covered by this Convention when considering the eventuality of early release or Parole of persons convicted of such offences

     4- تكفل كل دولة طرف مراعاة محاكمها أو سلطاتها المختصة الأخرى خطورة الجرائم المشمولة بهذه الاتفاقية لدى النظر في إمكانية الإفراج المبكر أو المشروط عن الأشخاص المدانين بارتكاب تلك الجرائم.
